Obama Planning to Change the Constitution?

I just read Obama is going to try to hold a constitutional convention.
If he gets 2/3 of the states to agree, he can throw out our entire constitution and restructure it anyway they want to...
They can take our amendments away.
They can take our freedom away.
They can make our country anything they want...not a democracy, not a republic...

Pray that this doesn't happen. I'm going to do more research and see what officials need to be contacted so that this doesn't happen. We need to speak up now or we may not be able to do so in the future. Pray to the Almighty for His Mercy for our Nation.

Trust in God

Don't let you hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.

John 14:1, NLT

I read this and felt how ironic that women would promote the very thing the last 2000 years have tried to turn around. Here we are, educated and equal in this country, yet brainwashed into thinking that who and what we are, our very biological make-up and the true essence of who we are, is something to rid ourselves of; at the cost of our own emotional well being and the living creation we have the sole capability of holding in our wombs. Men CAN'T have babies, we can!

Feminists worldwide promoting 'sexual genocide'

Sex-selective abortion is rampant in many countries and continues to grow.

According to a publication in Orissa, the female sex ratio in India alone is at an all-time low. Steven Mosher heads the Population Research Institute, which monitors abortion internationally. "This is done in India in epidemic proportions. It's done in China," he notes. "It's done in many, many of the civilizations of East Asia and Southeast Asia." Mosher contends it has been a losing situation for female children for centuries. However, he says the rise of Christianity has actually helped females, not hurt them, because the Bible recognizes them as having souls and also as the pinnacle of God's creation in Genesis 2. "Let's look back in history before the coming of Christianity. Virtually all societies treated women as not just the weaker sex, but the disposable sex," he points out. "Female infanticide was practiced by the Greeks, by the Romans, by most of the pagan societies -- and it was only with the coming of Christianity that the status of women was raised." But Mosher adds that radical feminists continue to promote abortion internationally at the expense of their own gender. "The feminists, who want to eliminate all distinctions between men and women, are only exposing their unborn sisters to a horrible form of sexual genocide," he concludes.

The first day of Advent

Today was the first day of Advent. It is a season of new beginnings and of joyful hope. There are many good articles about advent on a website I have as my home page: Catholic Online. I urge everyone to prepare themselves not just for holiday festivities, but for making preparations inside themselves, as I will try to do, and welcoming the Spirit to be reborn in each heart that celebrates the birth of Christ.

My prayer: Lord, through your Spirit we can be re-born each and every day. Let the days of the past be remembered for lessons learned. Help us to live each today moment with a Spirit of Joy that comes from knowing you are in control. Help me to empty myself of me and fill myself with you. I will to do Your Will Lord. Let your Spirit live in me and create the future that is in my highest good and in the highest good of all those who my life touches. I ask this in Jesus's name, Amen.
